About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Primal Pet Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for increasing retail availability, awareness, and consumption of our products in an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and influencers to maximize your impact and stay informed about market trends.
  • Open new retail accounts and expand the assortment of Primal Pet Group products available at existing accounts.
  • Train retail staff on the features and benefits of our products and identify in-store experts to promote our brands.
  • Leverage distributor resources to drive effective product placement and initial trial.
  • Ensure sufficient distributor inventory levels and confirm retailer satisfaction with distribution partners.
  • Identify and participate in key retailer and community events to support our brand.
  • Manage resources effectively to deliver maximum results.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the pet food industry and its brands.
  • Previous sales experience in pet or natural foods is preferred.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to listen and respond effectively.
  • Self-motivation and independence in a sales environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and imperatives.
  • Effective budget management and attention to detail.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
