About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Analyst to join our team at Navy Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting complex system analyses, feasibility studies, and implementation of new and innovative business and technical solutions using Marketing Automation technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Document Complex Technical Solutions: Develop and document complex technical solutions to functional systems requirements, including feasibility evaluation, design, logical data models, system processes, programs, and modules.
  • Project Planning and Management: Plan, coordinate, and organize projects and project teams, overseeing the full lifecycle project implementation and exercising full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Act as a supervisor in the incumbent's absence, leading, guiding, and mentoring lower-level team members.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and guidance to team members, stay on top of emerging technology trends, and exercise initiative, good judgment, and make sound decisions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Interact with customers to identify and document functional requirements, provide expert consulting and support services to internal customers, and demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with advanced knowledge of sophisticated programming languages, such as JAVA and Python, and system technologies, including Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH).
  • Systems Analysis and Design: Extensive experience with advanced knowledge of systems analysis and design techniques in program development.
  • Project Management: 3-5 successful project implementations in a Lead Role or held the Lead Role on a single multi-year, multi-channel project.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile Methodologies: Experience using Agile ways of working.
  • Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of Navy Federal's functions, philosophy, operations, systems, and organizational objectives.
