Senior International Affairs Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior International Affairs Manager to lead our Rangel Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a meaningful impact in shaping U.S. foreign policy and fostering diversity in the State Department's Foreign Service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and management of the Rangel Program, ensuring alignment with State Department goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, leveraging nationwide networks of advisors and community partnerships.
- Administer a fair and efficient selection process for fellows, ensuring compliance with State Department requirements.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for fellows, including orientation, professional development activities, and preparation for State Department assessments.
- Counsel fellows on issues such as clearances, graduate school, and internships, while monitoring their academic progress and program participation.
- Presentation and analysis of program outcomes, submitting required reports to the U.S. Department of State.
- Oversight of program budget and expenditures, addressing financial challenges and optimizing resources.
- At least 12 years of experience in program management, international affairs, or fellowship administration, with a master's degree required.
- Demonstrated expertise in outreach to diverse communities, knowledge of the State Department Foreign Service, and/or fellowship management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to prepare persuasive reports and presentations.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $113,636 - $125,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
