The National Association of Realtors (NAR) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Advocate, Federal Affairs to join our team. As a key member of our policy team, you will be responsible for handling legislative affairs related to federal tax policy matters impacting real property and NAR members.

Responsibilities:

  2. Handle legislative affairs related to federal tax policy matters impacting real property and NAR members.">
  3. Develop and implement effective advocacy strategies to promote NAR's interests on federal tax policy issues.">
  4. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Congressional committees, the Treasury Department, and the Internal Revenue Service.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • At least 5-7 years' experience in federal tax policy issues; Hill experience on tax issues with members of Ways and Means or Finance Committees preferred.">
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other mainstream programs.">
  • Exceptional communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.">

Salary and Benefits:

">

The estimated salary for this position is between $145,000-$195,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision insurance.
