Job Summary:

The HR Assistant will be responsible for performing various administrative duties, including filing, payroll, and serving as a resource for employee inquiries. This role will also involve accurately tracking attendance and leave of absence, as well as managing payroll, attendance, and FMLA/STD/LOA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Temp Payroll: Run payroll for temporary staffing agency, track attendance, and report daily.
  • FT Payroll: Run invalid labor reports, WAOT reports, make corrections, and send files.
  • Attendance: Accurately track and maintain attendance and leave of absence, apply grace periods, and give backs using a spreadsheet.
  • FMLA/STD/LOA Management: Respond to emails, help employees with claims, and manage leave of absence.
  • OT Report: Run OT report every Monday morning by 10 am.
  • New Hire Setup: Set up new hires in KRONOS after orientation.
  • Update Kronos Data: Update SCNs in Kronos.
  • Address Payroll Issues: Address payroll issues and questions, EAFs, and HCFs.
  • Track and Submit Shoe Reimbursements: Track and submit shoe reimbursements.
  • Draft and Issue Employee Verifications: Draft and issue employee verifications/letters.
  • Track Vacation: Track vacation time.
Requirements:
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to balance multiple processes and projects with minimal direction.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
Attendance Expectation:

This position is held to a higher expectation of attendance than other positions in the facility. Outstanding attendance is a job requirement. Frequent absences may cause management to review your qualifications and abilities to continue to efficiently perform as a HR Clerk.

Equipment Operated:

Employee should know how to operate a computer.
