- Assess project specifications and guarantee adherence to applicable regulations and agreements.
- Oversee engineering consultants and external firms to maximize project efficiency and value.
- Monitor project timelines to ensure design milestones are achieved.
- Direct electrical design processes and evaluate drawings, studies, and technical documentation.
- Facilitate both internal and external engineering review sessions while supporting operational teams.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Travel to project locations as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- 8+ years of experience in photovoltaic and battery energy storage system (BESS) design, electrical engineering, and power system analysis.
- 5+ years of experience managing technical aspects of electrical engineering projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant codes and utility practices within the United States.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is advantageous.
