Job Summary

DPS Group Global is seeking a highly skilled Capital Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all engineering and technical aspects are executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, project plans, and risk management plans.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all necessary contingency plans are in place.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, ensuring that all engineering and technical aspects of the project are executed to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, including commissioning, qualification, and validation requirements.
  • Manage project changes, ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained and that the project scope is updated accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, including critical milestones, key interdependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Prepare project estimates, including design, equipment, installation, labor, materials, and other related costs.
  • Provide project management reports and presentations to stakeholders, including project status, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or other related Engineering or relevant field.
  • 10+ years of project engineering experience in a Biopharmaceutical or Pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
  • Strong knowledge of biotech processing and aseptic manufacturing equipment.
  • Expert knowledge of Project Management methodologies and life cycle, including ISPE good practice.
  • Strong understanding of industrial and cGMP requirements, Engineering Life Cycle, and associated quality systems.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and establishing safe practices in a cGMP environment.
  • Solid engineering capabilities related to reviewing and approving construction designs, equipment installation, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and environmental engineering, HVAC systems, and utilities.
  • Knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and validation and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents, with consideration for US domestic travelers and relocation.

  • Reasoning Ability - Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
