Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grassroots Engagement Director to join our team at Stand Together. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and engaging grassroots leaders in Wyoming, mobilizing them to take action, and driving policy reform that opens opportunities for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and recruit grassroots leaders in Wyoming, equipping them with the skills and resources needed to advocate for policy changes consistent with our organization's principles.
  • Organize events and activities to engage the public, including phone calls, social media, and in-person outreach, to educate and motivate people to take action on public policy issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to innovate and reach people through unique and engaging ways, such as creating fun and interactive events or using social media to educate and mobilize people.
  • Ensure regular communication with activists to keep them motivated, educated, and active in our efforts.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Wyoming.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in grassroots advocacy and/or community organizing.
  • Experience in political campaigns or public policy development.
  • Knowledge of graphic design and/or social media advertising or engagement.
  • Experience in supervising staff and/or volunteers.
