Director of Corporate Engagement

Genesys Works is a national leader in providing pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and impactful relationships.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Corporate Engagement to join our team in New York City. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing new corporate partnerships that provide a significant number of internships for the students we serve and generate additional revenue for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a plan to research and secure new corporate partnerships, with a focus on securing C-level meetings with major employers in New York City.
- Execute on market and prospect research to identify new potential corporate partners.
- Closing business, including negotiating master services agreements, executing statements of work, and overseeing the completion of all administrative tasks associated with onboarding new customers.
- Manage key relationships with corporate partners for the first 12 months of the engagement, and execute successful hand-offs to account managers after the initial renewal cycle.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to present solutions to stakeholders and prospective partners, and assist in the sales process.
- Oversee the development of prospect lists, relationship mapping, and confirm priority initiatives.
- Track, measure, and manage corporate partners' success against metrics to maximize results and demonstrate ROI.
- Provide corporate partners with performance data and collaborate with their teams to drive growth.
- Build Genesys Works New York City's professional network by participating in networking events that attract C-level decision makers from large employers in your market.
- Support the organization's vision and strategy, and instill a culture of collaboration in the organization.
- Support the professional growth of colleagues through mentorship.
- Passion for Genesys Works' mission, culture, and values is essential.
- At least 7-9 years of experience in sales, staffing, workforce development, or account management, preferably in a non-profit, education, or staffing organization.
- Advanced experience in managing corporate partnership accounts, and demonstrated experience building C-level relationships in a revenue-generating capacity.
- Advanced experience in generating leads and managing pipelines.
- Ability to quickly build trust and credibility with corporate partners and all other internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong executive presence and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Strong sense of accountability for both our program and your own personal/professional development.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in certain months to meet the needs of the business.
- Competitive compensation ($105,000 to $125,000) commensurate with experience and qualifications.
