About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Jobot. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction projects, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical engineering, from planning and design to execution and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of mechanical engineering on construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop project plans and schedules, coordinating with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Review and approve mechanical designs, plans, and specifications, identifying any potential issues or improvements.
  • Supervise and direct mechanical engineering teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure all mechanical work complies with relevant health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying any issues or delays and taking appropriate action to resolve them.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other professionals, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, specifically within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience managing all aspects of mechanical engineering on construction projects, from planning and design to execution and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, techniques, and standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and direct teams effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other professionals.
