Job Description

The Mid-Level Superintendent is a key member of our construction team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of a project to ensure it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly manage a project's construction activities to meet specifications, delivering the project within budgeted cost and by the scheduled completion date.
  • Manage complex to highly complex projects, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Supervise craft superintendents, contractors, and other project team members to ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
  • Oversee discipline-specific scopes of work, including mechanical, electrical, and piping/plumbing, with a focus on delivering projects within budget and on schedule.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Science, or Engineering, or equivalent job experience.
  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Team-oriented individual with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing the construction scope on mid to large-sized projects, with a focus on delivering projects within budget and on schedule.
  • Design/Build experience and proficiency in Lean Tools for schedule, constructability, sequencing, etc.
  • Superior planning ability, with a focus on identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office suite, as well as experience with project management software and mobile devices.
