Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Addington Place of Brunswick. As a Medication Administration Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Responsible for the safe administration of medications, adhering to the 6 rights of medication administration.
  • Medication Inventory Management: Count and document all narcotics administered to residents, manage medication inventory, and notify relevant parties when supplies are low.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain the cleanliness of medicine carts, restock as needed, and perform weekly deep cleaning.
  • Medication Verification: Verify current MARs against new MARs at changeover times.
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and eating.
  • Nursing Care: Provide general nursing care, including vital signs, temperatures, blood pressure, and weights.
  • Documentation: Document relevant information in the daily log as required.
