Position Overview
As a Senior Claims Analyst in the Professional Liability domain, you will take charge of overseeing and resolving intricate claims within the Professional Liability sector, which encompasses Errors & Omissions (E&O), Directors & Officers (D&O), and various specialty lines. Your proficiency in handling professional lines claims will be essential in assessing coverage, liability, and damages, while guaranteeing that all claims are managed with precision and efficiency.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Work Environment: Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of high-stakes professional liability claims, including E&O, D&O, and other pertinent lines.
- Analyze and interpret insurance policies to ascertain coverage, liability, and damages.
- Conduct comprehensive investigations, which involve collecting evidence, interviewing relevant parties, and reviewing pertinent documentation.
- Facilitate negotiations for settlements with claimants, legal representatives, and other involved parties, ensuring just and equitable outcomes.
- Work closely with legal advisors to oversee litigated claims, including preparation for mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
Qualifications
- Background in Professional Lines is essential.
- Experience managing claims across various regions.
- Ability to handle claims with values up to $500,000.
- 5-7 years of experience in the insurance sector, with a minimum of 3 years in litigation.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school may complement claims handling experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
