Position Overview:
The Sustainability Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the company's ISO initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to safe work practices to ensure compliance with all relevant OSHA regulations.
2. Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
3. Maintain the integrity of company assets by reporting maintenance needs and ensuring cleanliness in assigned areas.
4. Assist the EHS Manager and Coordinator in planning and organizing recycling efforts.
5. Manage the removal and proper disposal of cardboard materials.
6. Ensure grounds are free from trash and debris.
7. Oversee the bailing and compacting of recyclable materials.
8. Operate the aerosol can puncture program.
9. Organize totes and manage waste reduction efforts.
10. Participate in departmental audits to identify additional recyclable materials.
11. Conduct general maintenance tasks, including painting and cleaning as necessary.
12. Maintain a valid driving license and a clean driving record for company vehicle operation.
13. Be trained to operate a forklift and utility vehicle.
14. Support the ISO 14001 initiative and attend related committee meetings.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the EHS Manager/Coordinator.

Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or GED is required.
2. Flexibility to transition into various departments as needed.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Self-motivated and proactive.
5. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings is highly desirable.
6. Forklift certification is preferred or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds, along with other physical tasks as required.
