Table Games Division Director

Overview: The Director of Table Games is responsible for overseeing the operations of the table games sector, ensuring adherence to state regulations and internal policies while fostering a culture centered on guest satisfaction and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the live table games operations within the casino.
Manage all aspects of table game operations, including inventory management of gaming equipment, such as dice and cards.
Protect company assets within the table games division.
Establish and uphold gaming rules and regulations in compliance with state gaming laws.
Plan and lead the staffing, training, and development of table games personnel.
Conduct financial forecasting and analysis for the department.
Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
Analyze game trends and performance metrics.
Strategize and manage growth initiatives for the business.
Prepare departmental budgets and manage operations to optimize revenue and control costs.
Recruit and oversee the development of departmental staff.
Communicate and ensure the consistent application of company philosophies and human resource policies.
Effectively resolve customer disputes while maintaining game security and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Provide complimentary services in accordance with the established comp matrix.
Actively participate in supporting programs for responsible gambling.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old.
A college degree is preferred.
Proficient knowledge of table games mathematics, procedures, game protection, regulations, and training requirements.
Familiarity with various table games, including blackjack, craps, roulette, and specialty games.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate staff through a collaborative approach.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including effective delegation.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in casino management is required.
Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods, see, walk, talk, and hear; use hands to manipulate objects and reach with arms.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
- Able to collaborate with others while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Capability to work in a noisy and smoky environment.
