Core Responsibilities:
Oversee the live table games operations within the casino.
Manage all aspects of table game functions, including the inventory of gaming equipment, such as dice and cards.
Protect company assets within the gaming department.
Establish and enforce gaming rules and regulations in compliance with state gaming laws.
Plan and direct the staffing, training, and development of table games personnel.
Conduct forecasting and financial analysis for the department.
Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
Analyze game trends and performance.
Strategize and manage business growth initiatives.
Prepare budgets and oversee departmental operations to optimize revenue and control costs.
Recruit and develop departmental staff.
Communicate and ensure consistent application of company philosophies and human resource policies.
Effectively resolve customer disputes while maintaining the integrity of the games and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Extend complimentary services in line with the approved comp matrix.
Actively support programs addressing compulsive and problem gambling.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
A college degree is preferred.
Knowledge of table games mathematics, procedures, game protection, regulations, and training requirements.
Familiarity with various table games, including blackjack, craps, roulette, and specialty games.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate staff through a collaborative approach.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including effective delegation.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in casino management is required.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods, see, walk, talk, and hear; use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Capable of working collaboratively while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to function in a noisy and smoky environment.
