The University of Alabama seeks a highly skilled Financial Systems Analyst to join its team. As a key member of the Finance department, this individual will be responsible for analyzing, defining, and directing computer-related development and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the maintenance, operation, and integrity of the finance system.
- Develop and prepare financial reports for internal and external users.
- Collaborate with functional and technical staff to meet business automation needs.
- Facilitate the budget data load process and ensure budget data integrity.
- Assist campus users with budget development software and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related Business degree.
- Five years of accounting or system administration experience, or a master's degree with three years of experience.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, proficient in MS Office, and working knowledge of relational database systems.
