About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Grieco Toyota. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles to customers, meeting sales quotas, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  1. Be directly responsible for selling vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards.
  2. Coordinate with the sales manager to set and meet new and used sales quotas and meet profit margin goals for vehicle sales.
  3. Be polite and friendly and greet customers promptly. Consistently follow the outlined sales process.
  4. Utilize floor time effectively in meeting the customers needs and soliciting sales.
  5. Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
  6. Demonstrate and test drive vehicles.
  7. Verify that customers are qualified for their wants, needs, and ability to buy.
  8. Maintain current knowledge and familiarity with new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
  9. Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
  10. Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technology changes in the product.
  11. Perform pre-delivery inspection and road test before delivery to customer.
  12. Deliver vehicles to customers after purchase.
  13. Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly.
  14. Utilize a consistent quotation process for purchases, trade-ins, and vehicle sales.
  15. Move and arrange display vehicles on showroom and on lot as directed by management.
  16. Deal with customer complaints in a sensible manner by showing empathy and a pleasant attitude.

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Valid driver's license and sales license.
  3. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  4. Professional personal appearance.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.

Working Conditions

  1. Work in a fast-paced sales environment.
  2. Work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  3. Work in a team environment.
  4. Travel to sales meetings and training sessions as required.
