Job Summary

Luna Data Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Benefits and Compensation Specialist to join our internal Operations team. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for managing our employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and other ancillary plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing employee benefit programs.
  • Provide customer service and benefits guidance to employees.
  • Process enrollments, changes, and terminations of employee benefits.
  • Audit billing and payments for employee benefit programs.
  • Resolve issues related to employee benefits, including claims and eligibility.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits records and files.
  • Prepare annual reports and audits related to employee benefits.
  • Provide support to the Operations team as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Experience with benefits enrollment software preferred.
  • Knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Professional certification in benefits administration a plus.
