Position Overview
The Client Support Specialist serves as a key point of contact for customers, collaborating closely with the Company's clientele and Technical Sales Representatives to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engages with customers through various channels including phone, email, online chat, or face-to-face to provide assistance and information regarding products or services.
- Processes and records orders for new or additional products efficiently.
- Supports the Technical Sales Representative in negotiating prices and reviewing contracts.
- Addresses customer inquiries and complaints; escalates complex issues to the appropriate Technical Sales Representative or team member.
- Ensures timely resolution of customer issues and concerns.
- Maintains detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Monitors inventory levels for specific customer products to ensure availability.
- Assists in project management alongside the Technical Sales Representative.
- Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Outstanding communication skills, including active listening.
- Customer-focused with a strong ability to resolve grievances.
- Proficient in computer applications with a capacity to learn new software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite or similar software.
- Technical math and mechanical aptitude are advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales or customer service is required.
- Experience in reading blueprints is beneficial.
- Background in rubber, seal, gasket, or other industrial components is a plus.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
