Position Overview

The Client Support Specialist serves as a key point of contact for customers, collaborating closely with the Company's clientele and Technical Sales Representatives to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engages with customers through various channels including phone, email, online chat, or face-to-face to provide assistance and information regarding products or services.
  • Processes and records orders for new or additional products efficiently.
  • Supports the Technical Sales Representative in negotiating prices and reviewing contracts.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and complaints; escalates complex issues to the appropriate Technical Sales Representative or team member.
  • Ensures timely resolution of customer issues and concerns.
  • Maintains detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
  • Monitors inventory levels for specific customer products to ensure availability.
  • Assists in project management alongside the Technical Sales Representative.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Abilities:
  • Outstanding communication skills, including active listening.
  • Customer-focused with a strong ability to resolve grievances.
  • Proficient in computer applications with a capacity to learn new software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite or similar software.
  • Technical math and mechanical aptitude are advantageous.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales or customer service is required.
  • Experience in reading blueprints is beneficial.
  • Background in rubber, seal, gasket, or other industrial components is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
