Job Summary

The Assessment Process Specialist I plays a critical role in the development and production of assessments. This project management position coordinates logistical aspects of test development and production processes, ensuring seamless integration of technological systems and capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with Assessment Specialists and other Process Specialists to deliver high-quality results on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior-level staff in developing the annual scope of work, including the annual item development plan and subsequent change orders.
  • Develop and oversee the item and test development schedule for assigned programs.
  • Support budget development and monitor progress against the work plan.
  • Collaborate on process improvements and SOPs, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and cost requirements.
  • Use item banking software to create tests and test packages.
  • Develop and refine processes for generating and utilizing AI-assisted assessment, process automation, and learning content.
  • Coordinate the use of automated content generation and review tools.
  • Investigate and resolve software or process issues, summarizing essential facts and proposing solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in process or project management, administration, or technical activities.
  • Working knowledge of testing, measurement, and processes for designing, building, and delivering assessments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, well-developed organizational skills, and technical skills.
