We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Tech to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapy Tech at Spire Orthopedic Partners, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality physical therapy care to our patients.

**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $55,000 per year

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for preparing treatment areas, patients, equipment, and materials for physical therapy sessions.
  • You will assist physical therapists with procedures and provide support to patients during treatment.
  • You will maintain a safe and clean working environment by following established protocols and procedures.
  • You will observe patients during treatment and report any concerns or issues to the physical therapist.
  • You will transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or providing standing support as needed.
  • You will prepare patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming them, comforting them, and assisting them into physical therapy apparel or apertures.
  • You will provide information to patients by answering their questions and requests.
  • You will help treat patients by applying heat packs, paraffin dips, and assisting patients onto therapy equipment.

About You:

  • You have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • You have one year of experience in physical therapy or medical office setting (preferred).
  • You are familiar with HIPAA, insurance regulations, policies, procedures, and other regulatory policies.
  • You have knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe working environment.
  • You can react calmly and effectively under stress.
  • You can interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • You can develop and maintain effective and professional working relationships with patients, medical staff, coworkers, and the public.
  • You must be a team player with a positive attitude and adjust to various personalities and work with a diverse population.
