About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Pentucket Medical's new Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic. As a member of Mass General Brigham Community Physicians, we provide exceptional healthcare to patients in the Merrimack Valley.

The ideal candidate is an adaptable Advanced Practice Provider with experience in providing patient-facing care in a small community setting. A strong interest in orthopedics and acute care is required, as well as certification as a Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating patients by performing appropriate history and physical exams
  • Ordering diagnostic procedures such as laboratory, radiological, and special studies when indicated
  • Performing therapeutic procedures such as suturing wounds, foreign body removal, incision and drainage of abscesses, reduction of fractures and dislocations, splinting, casting, and injections
  • Ordering medication, both in the clinic or by prescription

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
