Symmetrio is seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead sales activities in the Western US territory. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the existing customer base for a multi-national medical device company. This is a capital sales position, requiring a strong understanding of the capital sales process for products over $2M, as well as the ability to work up and down a large organization with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with a strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Sales Activities: Act as the lead sales person for assigned products, managing the selling process with fellow team members.
  • Customer Development: Develop and manage a targeted customer list, actively engage in sales interactions, forecast accurately, and document all activity in CRM accurately and in a timely manner to support pipeline development and forecast reporting.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing department to drive targeted customer sales campaigns.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain regular and meaningful contact with customers, potential customers, and leads to develop after-sales opportunities and identify new prospects.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or healthcare-related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct medical capital sales experience required.
  • Customer Focus: Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to work across a matrix organization using appropriate resources during the sales process and after the sale is closed and installation is accepted.
  • Creativity: Creative and entrepreneurial mindset, employing creative methods to break into new accounts, influence clinical, operational, and financial champions.
  • Geographic Location: Candidate will need to reside within the assigned US territory.
  • Travel: Travel expected to be 35%.
