Position Overview:

The Plant Controller will play a crucial role within the plant leadership team, contributing financial and operational expertise to enhance plant management. Key responsibilities include overseeing the month-end closing process, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and leading financial analyses related to manufacturing. The role also involves assisting with trend analysis and monthly forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to improve profitability.

  • Enhance inventory management processes, including standard costing and tracking.

Core Activities:
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts for profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Conduct financial performance reviews with plant leadership.
  • Analyze operational metrics impacting financial performance.
  • Lead annual physical inventory assessments and reconciliations.
  • Facilitate the annual budgeting process in collaboration with leadership.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
  • Oversee accounting operations, including month-end close and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with asset management policies.
  • Influence capital project planning and return on investment analyses.
  • Drive improvements in accounting procedures for enhanced efficiency.
