Strategic Partnerships Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our team at Principal Financial Group. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with external vendors and community-based organizations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on strategic issue areas relevant to our work and identify potential partners.
- Maintain relationships with existing partners and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Represent the company at conferences, site visits, presentations, and other events to build brand awareness and establish connections.
- Develop internal and external connections to identify strategic opportunities and align them with our business goals.
- Work with the communications team to create engaging content related to employee community service and develop an annual activation calendar.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent writing and presentation abilities.
- Executive presence and ability to represent the company effectively.
- Ability to travel internationally and work flexible hours as needed.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of $57,000 - $77,900 per year, depending on location and experience. Our benefits package includes flexible time off, pension eligibility, and comprehensive health insurance. Additionally, we offer hybrid work arrangements and professional development opportunities.
