**Job Overview**

US Foods is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic plans to capture market share, and providing support to Territory Managers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Sourcing and Developing New Business: Identify and pursue high-potential new accounts, develop strategic plans to capture market share, and work with Territory Managers to transition new business to their portfolios.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, menu design, business size, current suppliers, and competitors' products and prices.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers, leverage industry contacts to follow decision makers as they move, and attend sales meetings, food shows, and vendor events to network with prospective accounts.

**Requirements:**

  • Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Related Experience: Minimum 3 years sales experience required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience opening accounts greater than $0.5m, preferably in the foodservice industry.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to present in front of large groups, highly motivated and results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

The estimated base salary for this role is between $75,000 and $120,000, depending on relevant experience and education. In addition to the base salary, this role will also receive incentive compensation. Benefits may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
