Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview:

We are a prominent MEP engineering firm in search of a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a robust background in consulting engineering, particularly in the design of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems across various sectors such as commercial, municipal, industrial, and Water/Wastewater facilities. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of designing a variety of HVAC systems, plumbing layouts, fire alarm, and fire protection systems. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing construction administration and conducting field investigations for projects, performing field inspections, developing system narratives, executing load calculations, selecting equipment, and other related design activities. While experience in the Water/Wastewater or Pharmaceutical sectors is advantageous, it is not mandatory. The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Expertise in Load Calculations, preferably using Carrier HAP
  • Strong background in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Design
  • Proficient in Load Calculations
Work Environment:

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a combination of on-site presence and remote work. Our headquarters is a collaborative environment with over 40 professionals, fostering a culture of flexibility, allowing for two days in the office and three days working from home. We also support flexible workdays, with many team members opting to work in-office on select days. Our office is designed to be pet-friendly, promoting a welcoming atmosphere for all employees.
