Position Overview
The Department of Emergency Medicine is actively seeking to expand our team by hiring additional Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to enhance our regional practice.
Our current staffing needs are primarily in the Emergency Medicine departments, with opportunities to work across multiple sites in the future.
These roles offer the chance to join and contribute to dedicated healthcare delivery teams committed to practice, education, and research.
The Emergency Departments experience significant patient volumes, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Role Responsibilities
As an independent provider, you will collaborate with physicians and work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Your responsibilities will include comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostics, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and providing patient education.
You will also perform various procedures, ensuring a broad scope of practice.Our onboarding process is tailored to assess your unique skill set, providing you with the specific training needed to excel in your role.

Nurse Practitioner:
Master's degree from an accredited nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current RN and APRN licensure in Minnesota and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Physician Assistant:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA certification and registration as a PA in Minnesota. Unrestricted prescriptive authority in Minnesota is required.
Preferred certifications include BLS, ACLS, and others by the completion of orientation. Experience in Emergency Medicine is highly desirable.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation will be based on education, experience, and tenure, ensuring internal equity.

Schedule is full-time with rotating weekend shifts, providing a balanced work-life environment.
