Job Responsibilities

The Sub-Teacher will provide support to children in various settings including intermediate units, public, private, and charter schools. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain established routines and procedures of the school and classroom
  • Instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times
  • Effectively maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning
  • Use positive verbal and non-verbal skills that enhance learning
  • Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and School Board policies
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Committed to working with a diverse student population
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with students
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience working with students and great team player skills
