Sales Director

At ORS Partners, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Commercial Sales.
This role will involve overseeing and driving the commercial sales strategy for our business, working closely with our executive team to develop and execute sales plans, establish sales goals, and drive revenue growth in the commercial sector.
The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a passion for sales and team mentorship, able to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in the commercial market.
Key responsibilities will include leading and managing a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with key commercial customers, including contractors, developers, architects, and building owners.
Collaboration with marketing and product management teams will be essential to develop effective sales tools, promotions, and marketing campaigns, while analyzing sales data and performance metrics to track progress, evaluate effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
Regular sales reports and updates will be prepared and presented to the executive team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of performance.
Staying current with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements related to commercial distribution will be crucial, as well as holding a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in commercial sales within the HVAC distribution industry.
A proven track record of success in leading sales teams and achieving sales targets, knowledge of HVAC products, applications, and market dynamics, proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, and willingness to travel as needed will be essential for this role.
