Position:

Electrical Testing Specialist

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • The candidate must possess practical experience in automated testing and effectively interfacing with testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and current/voltage meters utilizing LabVIEW or Python.
  • The Test Engineer should be adept at managing various testing configurations, analyzing electrical data, troubleshooting issues, and formulating comprehensive test plans while documenting procedures and results.
  • Proficiency in developing LabVIEW or Python test scripts from the ground up to monitor, assess, display, and log waveforms and signals in real-time is essential, alongside performing standard electronics testing and signal analysis.

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience in the design and evaluation of analog electronic systems, including component selection, gain signal conditioning, input/output filter design, and closed-loop control.
  • Familiarity with creating circuit schematics and supporting PCB design, with a strong capability in addressing challenges such as noise reduction, signal reflection, crosstalk, and ground bounce.

Lab Measurement Proficiency:

  • Experience with laboratory measurement tools, including network and impedance analyzers, oscilloscopes, and circuit simulation software (e.g., LTSPICE, PSPICE) for design modeling.
  • Ability to develop qualification and verification plans for components and subsystems, leading the execution of high-temperature reliability testing.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical hardware with hands-on experience in qualification testing (pressure, temperature, shock, vibration, etc.). A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is typically required, along with 3-8 years of relevant experience.
