Location: Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will possess practical experience in automated testing and will be proficient in interfacing with various testing instruments, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and current and voltage meters, utilizing LabVIEW or Python.
  • Comfort with managing multiple testing configurations, analyzing electrical data, troubleshooting issues, and creating comprehensive test plans while documenting procedures and results is essential.
  • The candidate should demonstrate the ability to develop LabVIEW or Python testing programs from the ground up to monitor, assess, display, and log waveforms and signals in real-time, alongside conducting standard electronics testing and signal analysis.

Experience Requirements:

  • Proficiency in the design and analysis of analog electronic systems, including component selection, signal conditioning, filter design, and control systems.
  • Experience in creating circuit schematics and supporting PCB design, with a strong focus on resolving issues such as noise reduction, signal reflection, crosstalk, and ground bounce.

Familiarity with Lab Measurement Equipment:

  • Experience with network and impedance analyzers, oscilloscopes, and circuit simulation tools (such as LTSPICE and PSPICE) for design modeling.
  • Capability to develop qualification plans for components and subsystems, leading execution efforts that include high-temperature testing and reliability assessments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with electrical hardware and conducting qualification tests (including pressure, temperature, shock, and vibration) is highly desirable. A background of 3-8 years in the field, typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, is expected.
