Nurse Practitioner

The CHRISTUS Health team is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical records and billing.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research, evidence-based practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred.
- Current RN License in the state of employment or compact.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
