Job Overview
Position: Medical Practice Patient Representative (Clerical Assistant) within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves full-time commitment with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, ensuring effective patient management and support.

Role Summary: This position entails providing high-level clerical and administrative assistance while coordinating patient care activities essential for efficient practice operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and schedule patient appointments, ensuring necessary authorizations for tests, referrals, and procedures are obtained.
  2. Handle financial reconciliations and prepare daily office deposit reports.
  3. Be adaptable and trained to support check-in and check-out operations as needed.
  4. Organize and maintain physician schedules, including meetings and inpatient rounds.
  5. Oversee the procurement and management of office supplies, maintaining budgetary guidelines.
  6. Engage in workflow reengineering and process enhancements to align with healthcare programs.
  7. Conduct audits and assist in the tracking and reporting of relevant information.
  8. Serve as a key user for telephone and scheduling systems.
  9. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  10. Adhere to compliance responsibilities associated with the role.
  11. Perform additional duties as required.

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Excel, and data entry is essential, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience: A minimum of one year in a relevant field is required.

Compensation: Hourly wage commensurate with years of relevant experience. EOE, including individuals with disabilities and veterans.
