Location: L.A. Phil Store

Overview:

The L.A. Phil Store seeks a dedicated Sales Associate who excels in a dynamic, customer-focused retail setting. As a key representative of our organization, you will deliver a welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional experience during daily retail operations at the renowned venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement: Foster a customer-centric environment by greeting and assisting patrons, promoting products related to events, and striving to achieve sales targets.
  2. Store Management: Oversee point of sale transactions, ensure the maintenance of store displays, and adhere to opening and closing protocols.
  3. Inventory Oversight: Support inventory management and merchandising efforts. Accurately process incoming merchandise, label items, and maintain organized stock.
  4. Information Resource: Be prepared to provide accurate information regarding performances, educational programs, and events associated with the L.A. Phil.
  5. Visual Presentation: Restock and maintain organized merchandise displays, ensuring cleanliness and order throughout your shift.
  6. Event Support: Assist with operational tasks during events, including setup, teardown, and sales processes.

Qualifications:

  • Enjoys interacting with the public and contributing to a collaborative sales team, showcasing strong customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in retail sales with proficiency in point of sale systems is essential.
  • Thrives in a bustling environment, demonstrating reliability, initiative, and a commitment to quality service.
  • Flexible availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts, including holidays as required.
  • Two years of retail experience, particularly in selling music, art, accessories, and gifts, is advantageous.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 35 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace and community interactions.
  • Fluency in a secondary language is a plus.
