Your Role:

As the primary liaison for our client companies, you will serve as both a relationship manager and a strategic HR partner.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement

  • Provide a complete range of HR services to designated client stakeholders, becoming their trusted advisor for HR and benefits-related inquiries.
  • Act as the first point of contact for worksite administrators, addressing and resolving escalated client inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and policies.
  • Coordinate solutions from various departments to ensure prompt responses to client requests.
  • Oversee compliance services, including scheduling and tracking mandatory training, and assist clients in implementing HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Support clients in achieving strategic HR goals related to performance management, compensation strategies, talent acquisition, and employee development.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, collaborating closely with sales, operations, payroll, and benefits teams.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients to foster loyalty and success.
  • Assist employees in utilizing resources available on the Client Portal as needed.
  • Elevate issues to the Senior Director or VP of HR when necessary.

Talent Development

  • Deliver training programs, including both in-person and online sessions, tailored to client needs.
  • Advise clients on recruitment strategies and provide access to job boards and assessment tools.
  • Assist clients in crafting and maintaining accurate job descriptions.
  • Enable clients to effectively utilize tools for goal setting and performance evaluations.

Benefits Advisory

  • Collaborate with the Extensis Benefits team to guide clients in selecting and managing employee benefits packages.
  • Lead client communications during annual open enrollment periods.
  • Advise clients on compliant choices regarding health, dental, vision, and other employee benefits.
  • Act as a liaison for clients in managing Workers Compensation claims and Leaves of Absence.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Educate clients on best practices for addressing employee concerns and performance issues.
  • Provide guidance on sensitive matters such as performance management and terminations.
  • Conduct investigations and document findings as necessary.
  • Assist clients in maintaining proper documentation and processes.
  • Prepare compliance reports related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations.
  • Stay informed on relevant legislation affecting clients and the organization.
  • Engage with senior HR leadership and legal counsel as needed.

Leadership & Documentation

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in designated areas, providing support and resources to colleagues.
  • Document client interactions and sensitive matters in accordance with best practices.
  • Utilize company systems effectively, including Microsoft Office and Client Relationship Management tools.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced studies in business, HR, or employment law preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of four years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or HR Business Partner in a multi-client environment.
  • Experience in employment law and PEO settings is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a remote setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong presentation and consultative skills.
