Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all established nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scans, with precision and accuracy.
- Conduct required calibration and quality checks, noting results in appropriate logs, while practicing radiation safety and observing universal precautions at all times.
- Review studies for correct positioning and overall quality, ensuring that all images meet the highest standards.
- Participate in on-call duties and/or work variable shifts to meet department needs, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Graduate from an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine licensure.
- Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
