Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Quadrant. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive materials for medical procedures, as well as supervising personnel and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Administration of Radioactive Materials: Prepare the necessary radioactive materials for injection into patients for nuclear medical procedures.
- IV Injections and Patient Positioning: Administer IV injections and position patients on procedure tables for scans.
- Supervision and Quality Control: Supervise personnel in nuclear medicine and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Inventory Management and Ordering: Check isotope boxes, order necessary isotopes, and schedule patients and technicians.
- Documentation and Reporting: Perform necessary paperwork, including documentation and record-keeping.
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Responsible for calling for repair service and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Regulatory Compliance: Check records daily for accuracy and maintain files for inspection by government agencies.
- Professional Development: Inform supervisor of upcoming license expirations and perform all necessary tests required by government agencies.
- 2+ years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Valid CPR certification
- NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
