Job Summary

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at All Med Search. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate and safe administration.
  • Order, prepare, calibrate, store, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for routine and on-call procedures, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct quality assurance on cameras and various instruments, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Operate radiation detection devices, maintaining accurate records and reporting any anomalies.
  • Perform computer operations, including Meditech, PACS, and Syntrac, to ensure seamless data management.
  • Verify physician orders and ensure proper charges are entered, maintaining accurate records.
  • Participate in quarterly inventory of radioactive sealed sources, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of departmental records, manuals, and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform decontamination procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the department, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering phones, greeting patients, physicians, and the public, and responding to inquiries.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, with a strong preference for candidates with ARRT-N or CNMT licensure.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology, with continuing education as required for licensure.
  • Current licensure and certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including American Registry of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
