Radiation Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Specialist to join our team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. in East SC. As a key member of the oncology team, you will collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and safe radiation treatment plans for cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and calculate radiation treatment plans using 3D and IMRT planning systems in collaboration with radiation oncologists and physicists.
Conduct dose calculations to ensure precise delivery of prescribed radiation.
Review treatment plans to confirm accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with the oncology team to discuss treatment protocols and patient progress.
Ensure patient safety by adhering to established safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in ongoing quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) credential required.
Proficiency in treatment planning systems (e.g., Eclipse, Monaco).
Strong understanding of radiation safety and oncology protocols.
Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
