JobRialto is seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to administer radiation therapy treatments and provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments, including positioning patients and adjusting machinery to ensure proper treatment.
  • Monitor patients' health during treatment to ensure they are responding well and identify any adverse reactions.
  • Take and record X-rays of patients' bodies to determine the location of tumors for radiation treatment planning.
  • Collect data about each patient's condition and treatment progress for developing new treatments or improving existing ones.
  • Provide emotional support to patients receiving treatment for cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.
  • Supervise technicians who assist with administering treatments.
  • Report any safety concerns to the appropriate staff member.
  • Explain the effects of radiation treatment to patients in terms of its impact on their health and wellbeing.
Required Qualifications:
  • Diploma or associate degree in nursing.
  • BLS from AHA.
