South Carolina Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care, a Thrive Pet Healthcare hospital, is seeking a skilled Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join their team.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including CT and MRI machines, and offers a range of specialist services, including cardiology, oncology, and surgery.

As a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist at Thrive Pet Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and cases, and to contribute to the development of the hospital's medical excellence and education platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of the hospital's medical excellence and education platform
  • Collaborating with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Participating in the hospital's quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of new procedures and protocols
  • Providing education and training to colleagues and students

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, before their start date
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
  • Board Certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist or Residency Trained Veterinarian
