Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to join our team at FCH Enterprises. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of all employee benefits, ensuring timely notification to employees regarding their benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review reports to ensure employees are eligible or ineligible for benefits in accordance with State and Federal labor laws and/or Company policy.
  • Notify employees of their eligibility and ineligibility for benefits (medical, group life).
  • Enroll, change, and terminate employees on applicable insurance plans (medical, dental, group life).
  • Assist with premium billings for medical, dental, and group life insurance.
  • Send all qualified employees a Notification of COBRA election form on a timely basis as required by law.
  • Assist by answering questions between employees/managers and insurance carriers regarding benefits issues.
  • Assist with open enrollment periods for our medical, dental, and 401(k) plans.
  • Process and follow up on all HC-5 forms.
  • Process Request for Leave/vacation forms and follow up on all return to work dates including FMLA leaves.
  • Track all leaves (Vacation, LOA, TDI, WC, Military Leave, FMLA, HFL). Follow up on any missing paperwork and return to work dates.
  • Bill employees for any medical and/or dental premiums owed (arrears).
  • Compile information and complete Temporary Disability Insurance (TDI) claim forms.
  • Review and follow up with all employee injury reports and files workers compensation claims.
  • Conduct and/or assist with the benefits section of the new hire orientation session.
  • Answer questions for all employees who may call or come in person to inquire about benefits.
  • Run monthly ADP eligibility and ineligibility reports and follow up with the managers.
  • Print and distribute Employee Discount Program cards to eligible employees.
  • Maintain and file benefits records and documents necessary for implementing benefits coverage.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Coordinate annual flu shots.
  • Assist with various Human Resources projects and perform other duties as assigned in support of the operations of the Human Resources Department.
