Job Summary:

This position plays a crucial role in achieving sales goals and driving business growth for Sysco Specialty Meat Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, promoting and selling Sysco's products, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and grow the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and product applications to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and customer needs.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; 4-year degree in culinary arts, business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in food service sales or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong consultative sales skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide expert advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Outlook.
