Mechanic - Passenger Boarding Bridge Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Worldwide Flight Services. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and other related airport ground handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize technical drawings and testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Source and obtain replacement parts as needed.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Confer with management for complex repairs that require approval.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
