Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center.
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth office operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Interfacing with patients and families, physicians, and staff
- Admitting patients and processing their paperwork
- Updating patient demographics and information in our system
- Collecting monies due and documenting in the billing system
- Handling funds per office procedure
- Answering incoming phone calls
This is a full-time position, requiring weekdays only, with no holidays or weekends. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year of previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred
- Ability to operate office equipment required to fulfill job duties
- Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
- Bilingual preferred
- Good communication skills
