Professional Sales Account Manager

About the Role:
">We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Topeka, KS. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business, penetrating existing accounts, and driving profitable sales growth within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities and penetrate existing accounts to achieve sales growth and special objectives.
- Qualify prospects and research customer business needs to develop a mix of products and services that meet their requirements.
- Evaluate market trends, recommend products to customers based on their needs and goals, and provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
- Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings, and other events as required.
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable, work with the credit department, and troubleshoot any problems during the order process.
- Participate in company functions, promotions, customer visits, and events, and engage in ongoing training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of restaurant management, B2B sales, or outside sales experience, preferably in a foodservice industry.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, including no multiple DUIs within the last 2 years, and current automobile insurance with liability limits of $100,000 each person and $300,000 each accident.
