Job Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business, penetrating existing accounts, and minimizing lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within assigned territories. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities through research and prospecting
  • Penetrate existing accounts by identifying additional sales potential and presenting solutions to meet customer needs
  • Minimize lost business by analyzing sales data and implementing strategies to retain customers
  • Research customer business needs and develop tailored product and service offerings to meet those needs
  • Evaluate market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; HSD/GED and 3 years of relevant experience may be considered
  • Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
