The Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Strategies directly collaborates with the Campus Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services and Student Success. This role is pivotal in steering various functional domains as designated by the Campus Vice Chancellor.
The Vice Chancellor plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall student experience, focusing on enrollment planning, management, and student support initiatives.
This position necessitates close collaboration with the Campus Vice Chancellor and relevant System Office leadership to devise strategies that align with statewide objectives in critical areas such as recruitment, enrollment, retention, and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists the Campus Vice Chancellor in providing vision, leadership, and guidance to all enrollment services personnel, ensuring effective delivery of enrollment management and student development initiatives.
In partnership with the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services and Student Success:
- Offers vision and direction to all enrollment management teams (including Express Enrollment Center, Financial Aid, Student Records, Admissions/Recruitment, and other designated departments) for the execution of enrollment management strategies.
- Designs and implements a comprehensive enrollment services strategy to achieve campus-level metrics for revenue-generating enrollment, leading to successful completion and retention.
- Coordinates recruitment communications with the Systems Office.
- Develops, executes, and assesses a holistic enrollment management strategy that encompasses recruitment initiatives, student success methodologies, and program opportunities.
- Establishes intentional and inclusive recruitment strategies that align with the College's strategic objectives.
- Collaborates with campus and system-level leadership to cultivate partnerships with K-12 institutions, workforce entities, and community organizations, fostering an inclusive environment that values diversity.
- Creates a communication framework aligned with Systems Office efforts to engage prospects, inquiries, applicants, and enrolled students, ensuring consistency with statewide recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Implements a contact management strategy utilizing CRM tools and social networking to enhance student recruitment efforts.
- Prepares and submits both short- and long-term lead generation and conversion objectives as part of the strategic planning process, monitoring outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Leads professional development training for recruitment staff to assist in achieving individual lead generation and conversion targets.
- Ensures compliance with College policies and legal requirements, preparing necessary reports and interpreting regulations.
- Participates in local and statewide committees relevant to job functions.
- Provides real-time recruitment and conversion analytics consistent with those shared with college leadership.
- Oversees budget development and administration for each functional area, prioritizing expenditures.
- Models strong leadership and fosters a culture of collaboration and commitment to high-quality service delivery.
- Develops a process-managed organization that delivers measurable value through efficiency and cost optimization.
- Collaborates with other leadership members to implement the College's strategic plan across campus.
- Executes strategic initiatives and resource allocation to meet college-wide metrics.
- Creates an environment conducive to innovative planning and service delivery that promotes cultural and global awareness.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in student personnel, counseling, adult or higher education, or a related field is required.
Three to five years of progressive leadership experience in a comprehensive student affairs unit related to enrollment services is required.
Demonstrated project management capabilities to oversee multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
Proficient in managing student-related data and reporting.
Excellent conflict resolution skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven track record of conceptual thinking and project execution.
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion while collaborating with senior leaders across various sectors.
Capacity to foster an inclusive environment that reflects the diversity of students and employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in community colleges is preferred.
Seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience in student affairs within a regionally accredited higher education institution is desired.
